CNC quotations, lead times and urgent work
We aim to respond to enquiries on the same working day. A complete drawing and clear requirements help us assess the work promptly. The time needed for a complete quotation depends on the complexity of the job.
Planning a repeat batch?
Include the current drawing revision, batch quantity, material and required date with your enquiry. We confirm the production slot and delivery arrangements in your quotation.
Give us the information needed to quote
Send your PDF drawing, DWG, STEP model or SolidWorks part file. Include the quantity, material grade, critical tolerances, finish, documentation requirements and required date.
Confirm the scope and delivery date
We assess the requirements, material availability, tooling, inspection needs and production schedule. The quotation sets out the work offered and the proposed lead time. Clarify whether your required date means ready for collection, dispatched or delivered to your premises.
Plan urgent work early
Selected urgent jobs may be possible from 24 hours, depending on materials, tooling and available workshop capacity. Jacobus reviews urgent requests and confirms what can be accommodated. Call 022 482 3285 or 071 869 8640.
Keep the order ready for production
Confirm the quotation, purchase order and current drawing revision, together with any agreed commercial requirements. Material supplied by the customer must be identified and suitable for the quoted work. Changes after acceptance may require a revised delivery agreement.
Make repeat demand visible
We retain programmes and tool setups for repeat work. Send the current drawing revision, expected quantities and reorder dates. The lead time is confirmed for each order.
Collection or nationwide delivery
Collect from 27A Industrie SGL, Malmesbury, 7300, or ask for delivery to your Western Cape address to be included in the quotation. Nationwide courier delivery remains available. Delivery arrangements, packaging and costs are confirmed for each order. Specify whether your deadline means collection, dispatch or delivery to your premises.
