We welcome CNC enquiries from across the Western Cape. Include your town and delivery address if delivery should be included in the quotation. We confirm the arrangements, costs and timing with your quotation.

If you do not have a drawing
Send clear photographs and describe the application. If a physical sample is available, tell us its condition and whether the component needs to match another part. Any design or reverse-engineering work will be scoped separately.
For time-sensitive work
Send your enquiry and call 022 482 3285 or 071 869 8640 so we can discuss the deadline. A required date is a request until the delivery commitment has been confirmed.

If an NDA or a particular document-handling arrangement is required, contact us before sending the files. Share only information you are authorised to provide.

What happens next
Jacobus reviews your enquiry and clarifies the material, tooling, technical requirements and lead time before the quotation is confirmed. An enquiry does not confirm an order or reserve a production slot.
Frequently asked questions
What tolerances can you achieve?
CNC turning tolerances of ±0.02 mm can be considered for suitable features. The material, geometry, workholding and drawing determine what can be confirmed for your component.
How quickly can you supply components?
Selected urgent jobs may be possible from 24 hours, depending on materials, tooling and capacity. Jacobus confirms the lead time for your order. Specify whether your date means collection, dispatch or delivery.
Can you quote a single component or a repeat order?
Our preferred enquiry range is 20 to 5,000 parts, for one-off batches or repeat production. Individual components and other quantities can also be assessed. Programmes and tool setups are retained for repeat work.
Do I need a drawing?
A current drawing is the best starting point. If you do not have one, send photographs and describe the application. Tell us whether a sample is available. Any design or reverse-engineering scope must be agreed separately.
Can I request inspection records or material certificates?
Yes. Request the inspection report or material certificate in advance so that the documentation and any additional requirements can be included and confirmed in the quotation.
Can I supply the material?
Tell us the material grade, dimensions, condition and any available documentation. We need to confirm that the supplied material is suitable for the proposed work before accepting it for machining.
Drawing formats
PDF, DWG, STEP and SolidWorks part files are accepted. Email drawings to jacobus@graanland.co.za with the same name and component reference as your enquiry.
Delivery and materials
CNC and replacement parts are couriered nationwide. We machine EN8, EN24T, 304 and 316 stainless steel, aluminium, brass, phosphor bronze, nylon and Vesconite.
